What science ideas did you learn?
One science idea that i learned was that germs can spread very easily. In class we did an experiment where we combined our test tubes and at the end we put something else in the tube and it either turned green or red. Red meaning that we were sick, and green meaning we weren't sick. One other science idea that I learned were living characteristics, and to be living you need to have these.
How did you learn these ideas?
We learned these ideas by talking in class about them. We went over the characteristics and we made a list of living and non-living thing. We did the experiment in class and at the end we saw how the germs started, and who started them. We did this by seeing who the person that wasn't sick traded with and we came to the conclusion of who started it.
Why is it important to know these ideas (What real world applications are there)?
It is important to know these ideas because it can affect us in real life, and we should know how to fix them. We also should know the living characteristics to know what is living and what is non-living all around us.
