Over the week we made a protein synthesis stories from s simulation we did. The story was about how protein synthesis works and how it happens. Then we talked about DNA and what it is and what RNA is an how it is made. We also talked about what mRNA did and was, and we talked about tRNA. We talked about the whole process of transcription, and what ribosomes do with RNa to make proteins. Then we started our cell projects and what we were going to do for them.

We learned these ideas by doing a simulation. Then we made our stories from doing the simulation. We started to talk in class about proteins and how they are made. We talked about what is used in the making of proteins. Then we talked about what each molecule and other things look like.

We need to learn these ideas because we need to know what genes are and what they do. We need to be able to know how RNA and mRNA is used because we will need to know these things in the future.
