The past week we talked about mitosis. We talked about the things that are involved in mitosis, like the phases (prophase, metaphase, anaphase,telophase) we also talked about chromosomes and what chromopsomes ared involved in like DNA. We also talked about what DNA looks like and what chromosomes looks like. We drew pictures of what the cell looks like in each phase and what happends in the phases. Then we talked about meiosis, which in like mitosis because they both copy and make a new cell.

We learned these thing by doing these simulations. In the simulation it showed what happend in each phase and what it looked like. We wrote down what each phase is and does and we talked about in class and got a better understanding of it.

We need to know these ideas because we need to know what is going inside our body and what cell reproduction is. We need to know about mitosis and mieosis so we know how cells reproduce and how DNA works and what it does for us.
