The difference between mitosis and meiosis was not very understandable to me before, so if i could go back I would tell myself that they are pretty much the same thing. But meiosis makes more than one cell. In mitosis makes only one more cell. Meiosis makes 4 cells and repeats all of the process 2 times. But mitosis is any cell. Meiosis only involves sperm and egg cells.

I think that the simulation that we did in class one day helped me to understand what happens in meiosis. It helped me to understand that mitosis and meiosis are to different processes but come out with the same thing. It helped me to understand the distinctions between the two and understand the process better.
